Keswick Recreation Association Soccer

The KRA is a not for profit volunteer organization. We offer summer recreational soccer to kids from ages 3 to 12.

Our goal is to teach the fundamentals of the game, stressing physical literacy, hopeful that these skills will be useful in all other aspects of life.  We teach through structured skill building routines and small practice games. We use established methods followed by recognized youth soccer programs.

We depend on volunteer coaches and offer them training and support. If you feel that you would like to help, please contact us through the contact link. Remember, you don’t need to be an athlete to be a good coach or assistant at this level, but you should enjoy working with kids. Past experience in sport certainly helps, and we learn as we go. Drills and basic instruction will be made available and other training may be offered. Criminal record checks will be required. We work as a team and we have a lot of fun!

Player Clothing & Equipment:

The KRA obtained a sponsorship from Tim Hortons and we will be providing a team T-shirt, shorts, and socks. Go out and support our local Tim Hortons!! Thank you!

All players will need sneakers or soccer cleats.
Soccer cleats and shin guards are highly recommended for players ages 7 and older.

All players should bring their own labelled water bottle to the field.

Special Needs

We encourage inclusion in our programs. Please indicate during registration if your child has a disability that requires special consideration. In some cases a parent or guardian may be required on the field to ensure the safety of the child.
